I have been stuck with writers block! So many ideas swirling in my head, but, when I start to write, I either goo blank or decide it sounds stupid.

Tonight, I decided heck with it, I’m just going to write my day!

My mornings start off with Coffee!! During this time, I check messages, team pages, and scroll facebook for a bit.

Then, I go through my list of affirmations, and write down 10 things I’m thankful for in my life.

After that, I turn on an audio book, check my planner, and do about an hour or so of work.

Today, I put together business info folders. Let me know if you’d like one!

Next in my day is Munchkin’s schoolwork, lunch, and finish school. My husband usually comes in for lunch, so we get to spend time with him.

Today was beautiful, so we loaded up a couple of our dogs and went for a hike this afternoon.

I love my business! It allows me to spend my days with my kids, and go do fun things!

But, I do have to actually spend some time working it – you can’t treat your business like a hobby and expect to make real money at it. Granted, I do not have to spend 8 hours a day chained to my desk. In fact, this morning, I set my printer for everything I needed for the folders, then, went outside. It is great!

Does anyone do time blocks? Do you have any tips? That is what I’m working on doing with my daily, personal schedule.

Doll house update

In case anyone was wondering….

Yes. We are working on it. No. It’s not built yet.

It would be nice if I had time to just work on it until it’s finished, but, life keeps interfering. Lol

We do have the sides and most of the trim painted, sanded, and painted again. There are several pieces that we’re just not sure what color they’re supposed to be.

My husband suggested we go ahead and start building, and paint those pieces as we figure out what they are.

This really is fun, although sometimes my patience runs a little thin. Short periods of time working on it with a 5 year old seem to be best. She really loves this project!

I couldn’t believe my nails still looked good as much scrubbing as it took to get the paint off! I really thought I’d have to redo them!

Big project

‘It’s exactly the one I wanted!!’ She screamed when she opened it.

Poor thing didn’t realize just how big of a project it is to put together.

In all honesty, neither did Mom.

I’m quite overwhelmed by all the pieces,  but, we’re plugging away at it! We have the first coat of paint on all the big pieces, and I’m working on sanding them in my spare moments.

My mom and I built one when I was little. Well,  I helped with the decorating.  I’ve been looking forward to doing this with Munchkin.  Thanks to my Color Street bonus,  we were finally able to get it!

Making memories!

Can’t help but laugh

Middle son and I went Christmas shopping yesterday.  During which time we debated and compared games for Munchkin.  We finally got picked one out.

On our way home,  we stopped and picked up Arby’s. It was late,  I didn’t feel like cooking!

Got home,  Munchkin finished her food,  reached into the happy meal bag for her toy….. And, excitedly pulled out the same game we bought.

Getting ready for Christmas!

I love decorating!!!

Actually,  I don’t really like all the work.  It’s a pain in the booty!

But, I do love the way my house looks when it’s finished!

We’re almost finished! Just have a few wall hangings and finishing touches left.

Oh, and need to finish packing and storing Halloween decorations that are stashed in a corner! I keep forgetting about that corner….

Busy, busy!

Munchkin is really catching on with her reading lessons! She’s loving it, and even asks to do them on weekends! Now, if she would just catch on to counting- whenever she can’t remember the next number she says, ’18!!’

Businesses are going well,  especially Color Street – Wow!!!!! ( pamperyournails.com of you’re curious! ha ha)

A total jerk punched my middle son in the face last week,  completely breaking his jaw.  Not just fracture, it’s separated! Now he needs surgery, but, since he doesn’t have insurance OU med told him to call to schedule when he has a couple thousand dollars.  Yes, I’m very stressed and angry.

Yes, this is his break. And he was sent home.  He lost his job and therefore his insurance last spring, we can’t get him back on ours until reenrollment.

Our pup is very sick

It’s been a very rough week.  Our 1 year old papillon has been horribly sick, hasn’t been able to keep her blood sugar levels up.  We’ve rushed her to local vet twice, and the last time, they had us take her to specialist 2 1/2 hours away.

She’s got a liver disease, and we’re praying the special diet she’s been put on takes care of it.

Busy, but good day!

Posted free drawing contests in both my Posh group and Colorstreet group,  worked on some photo editing,  and always laundry!

This afternoon, Munchkin and I had a water balloon fight.  The teenager showed up during it, so she snuck up on him when he got out of the pickup. Of course, he and his friend joined in with us for the last few filled balloons.

Munchkin’s reading lesson went very well today! She was so proud of herself. I love it!

She wanted star nails this evening,  so I did Colorstreet on all fingers for first time on her.  It only took 2 1/4 strips! We’ll be able to do both of our hands from one package, and still have left over strips!

Heatwave

Not my photo, just one I found online that fits. My dogs won’t leave the a/c long enough to get silly pics of them outside. I can’t say as I blame them.  Spoiled babies.

For the past couple of years,  we have had several beautiful looking tomato plants, but very few tomatoes.  And I mean, very few.

This year, we have 2 of the most pitiful looking plants ever! They seriously have looked like their on deaths door for the past couple of weeks, and we cannot figure out what’s wrong with them,  but, we are getting lots of tomatoes!

These are what Munchkin picked today!

On the business front,  I started Perfectly Posh purely for myself,  I wanted the products in the starter kit & the discount for myself, and somehow, it has turned into a successful business that I absolutely love.

I signed with Juiceplus recently,  again, for the personal discount, and hopefully can get enough sales to pay for our own usage. (Had to do something to offset the cost with 3 adults in the house!)

Now,  I’ve added Colorstreet nails.  This time because yes, I am super incredibly impressed with them, and am using personally,  and, for me, they are another way of pampering and taking time for ourselves, but, I also am looking at the business opportunity & the challenge.  Let’s see if I can do as well with this as I’ve done with Posh. Lol Seriously, I am beyond impressed with these 100% nail polish strips that aren’t messy and are not only easy to apply, they’re also easy to take off.

Ok, I’m off to go do a reading lesson with Munchkin, and at some point, mop this nasty floor! Y’all have a great day!

#Shred10 Day 5

It’s been a busy week! Munchkin has had dance camp every morning,  it’s close to an hour drive one way.  Today was their performance day.  A whole bunch of cute little trolls!

I have been feeling really good doing this #Shred10!! The shakes taste good, plain or mixed with fruit, and they’re very filling!

I will admit, my husband’s chips & dip were nearly my downfall a couple days ago, but,  I stayed strong and resisted.  It’s only 10 days,  I can do this!

Yes,  I will continue the shakes and capsules, but, won’t be restricting my diet quite so much.  (I will be eating chips and dip!)

Oh, hey!!! I received my first check from #JuicePlus! That was pretty cool!

My plans this weekend include relaxing, pampering myself, and rejuvenating!
